Dirk Kuyt has just become a hero of Liverpool. He became the winner when the Reds meet Sparta Prague in the last 32 of the Europa League.
Following the victory, Kuyt revealed that he was getting a chance to get a new contract. Obviously with a higher value.
"Negotiation is positive. I hope that within one or two weeks I could convey good news," said Kuyt told Channel Five.
Kuyt admitted quite satisfied with victory over Sparta.
"It took time for us to score, but 1-0 was enough to qualify and we are quite satisfied akannya," said Kuyt told Sporting Life after the match that took place at Anfield it.
"It's a tough game and we should be able to finish from scratch. But the point is we can win."
